If your getting these emails/updates and would rather not just let me know and I'll take you off the list . . . . .
I knew as soon as we had a decent weather day everyone would want to start practicing. With the deposit deadline still Feb 15th, most teams are not USSSA registered and none insured at this time. Because of the time and labor involved, I try to process the USSSA team registrations and insurance all at one time but if I wait till Feb 15th that will expose those teams (who want to start practicing now) to uncovered liability and medical exposure.
If you want me process your teams USSSA team registration and insurance before the Feb 15th deposit deadline, I will do them in groups of 10 (to get the league discount). So, if you plan on practicing soon you need to get your registration paperwork (Registration form and Policies / Procedures Agreement) along with your $500.00 deposit payment in ASAP.
If you want to process your own team registration and insurance you can do so with a credit card at the national USSSA web site - www.usssa.com . The team registration and insurance will cost you more to do on your own since you won’t have the league discounts, but once I have confirmation that you have processed your own registration and insurance I’ll discount those budgeted expenses from your team’s league fees. If you process your own insurance you must request and obtain Certificates of Additional Insurance on your policy naming all the facilities that we will use as additionally insured from the insurance provider. I will only discount the insurance fee once I have received (in their entirety) the certificates of additional insurance outlined in the AAD/USSSA Team Insurance Requirements – 2010 policy.
Only submit your fees at this time if you’re confident that you will have a team in the league program because once those fees are spent, they are non-refundable. If you pay now but want me to wait till the Feb 15th date to process your team registration and insurance, be sure to date your deposit check or Pay Pal payment for Feb 15th (or email me and let me know).
As of this email, below are the list of teams for the spring league. If I have your team in and your not or have the wrong age division or team name please let me know so I am projecting accurate information.
